During my Sophmore year of college at Champlain, we were tasked with creating a modular sci fi hallway of our own design. This project was served as an introduction to modular environment assets, rendering using UE4, and texturing.
One of the first potential jobs that I looked into was a 3D modeling position for Wayfair in Boston. During this art test, I was given a set of 3D assets and was told to build a modular interior environment and render it out as realistically as I could.
During my time trying to find job that had to do with 3D modelling, I briefly look at a position which used Sketch Up to create blue prints for a interior design firm. For the art test, I was tasked with designing a kiosk to display my talent as a 3D modeler. Sadly I didn't get the job, but here is what I came up with.
