Andrew Messier has spent the majority of his life living in a small rural town in central Massachusetts. Growing up, he spent most of his adolescent years adventuring all across New England with his scout troop. After completing high school, he attend Champlain College in the green mountains of Vermont and graduated with Bachelors of Science degree in Game Art and Animation.
During his time at Champlain College, he has spent the past four years learning how to model both soft & hard surfaces, how to set up environments to scale, animating, rigging, programming his own scripts using python through Maya, and texturing through Quixel and Substance suites. However he didn’t just learning how to be just a 3D artist, but also learned how to be an active member within video game production cycle. Using his knowledge of SCRUM style management, he collaborated with designers, programmers, producers, and other artists to create small independent games using engines like Unity 5 and Unreal Engine 4. In his senior year of college, he was part of a team who created a game that was invited to represent the Champlain college at PAX East 2017.
